For teachers

Set it on Monday. It's marked by the time you look.

Homework set in four steps, marked as each pupil hands it in, and results by class and by pupil, ready for the next lesson.

Step 1

Set homework in four steps

Choose the class, the questions, the dates and the options, one screen each.

  • Questions by topic and difficulty, or picked one by one
  • Set it now or on a later date, with a due date
  • Show answers straight after each question, or after the due date
  • Allow retries, or not

2 · Questions

Topics

  • ☑ Fractions of amounts
  • ☑ Equivalent fractions
  • ☐ Decimals

Difficulty

☑ Easy · ☑ Medium · ☐ Hard

Number of questions: 10

Step 2

Pupils answer, and every answer is marked

Multiple choice and numbers are checked at once. Written answers are marked against the mark points, and the points are shown with the result.

  • The method and the mark points after each answer
  • "Question this mark" when a pupil disagrees
  • Late work still counts, and shows as late

Calculate 3/5 of 85

51 ✓ 1 mark out of 1

Divide by 5, then multiply by 3: 85 ÷ 5 = 17, 17 × 3 = 51.

Question this mark

Step 3

Results by class and by pupil

See who has done it, each pupil's marks, and the questions the class found hardest, hardest first. Change any mark you disagree with.

  • Who has finished, who is late, who hasn't started
  • The hardest questions first, ready for the next lesson
  • Every pupil's answers, with any mark open to change

Beyond homework

What pupils can do on their own

  • Practice any time

Pupils can practise any topic in their year, not only what was set, with red, amber and green progress by topic.

  • Mistakes to retry

Every wrong answer goes on a list to try again, until it's right.

  • Timed mocks

Where the course has exam papers, pupils can sit timed mocks marked the same way.

  • Group Challenge

Friendly quiz challenges between classmates, only within your school. The lead teacher switches it on or off for each year group.

Getting started

From licence to the first homework

  1. 1

    We set up your licence

Your key stages, extras, marking level, number of pupils and end date. We invite your lead teacher.

  2. 2

The lead teacher adds the school

Invites colleagues, adds class lists with a parent email for each pupil, and adds your logo and welcome to your school's site.

  3. 3

    Parents get an invite

Each child opens their parent's invite link and picks a username and password. Nothing to pay.

See it with your own classes

Book a short online demo: we'll set homework to a class, hand it in and show you the results.
