How homework looks in Secondary

  • Exam-style, by topic

Questions written in the style of the GCSE papers, set by topic or picked one by one, with multiple choice, numbers and written answers.

  • Marked like the exam

Written answers are marked against the mark points, which are shown with the result. A pupil who disagrees can press "Question this mark".

  • Practice beyond homework

Pupils can practise any topic in their year, take timed mocks and retry their mistakes, with red, amber and green progress by topic.

Optional

Extras for this stage

Secondary extras add Python Lab (real Python that runs in the browser), Puzzle Maths (problems in the style of the junior maths challenges) and AI Explorers (how chatbots work and how to check them), for Years 7–9. They are optional, and every pupil in a covered year gets them.
